Cookie Policy

Short version: we set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. The one optional extra is cookieless, aggregate analytics, and it runs only if you say yes in the consent banner. There is no advertising and no cross-site tracking of any kind.
1. What we set

The exact cookie name includes our project identifier, and the value may be split across a couple of cookies when it is large. They are the same cookie in substance.
2. Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, this site loads Vercel Analytics. It is deliberately minimal: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not identify or follow you across sites. What we see is aggregate — page views, referrers, rough geography, and which installer downloads are clicked. If you decline, none of it loads, and the site works exactly the same.
3. What we do not set
No advertising or retargeting pixels. No social plugins. No session recording. No fingerprinting of visitors to this website. No analytics cookies either — the analytics above works without any.
4. Storage that is not a cookie
Three things are kept in your browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie, and none of them is sent to us:
- Your theme choice (light or dark), in
localStorage, so the page does not flash the wrong colours on load. - Your consent choice from the banner, in
localStorage, so we do not ask you again on every visit — whichever way you answered. - A half-finished sign-in, in
sessionStorage, so that reloading the page while a one-time code is in your inbox does not throw the code away. It is discarded when you close the tab, and within ten minutes regardless.
5. The consent banner
The sign-in cookies are strictly necessary — you cannot stay signed in without them — so the law does not require consent for those and the banner does not ask for it. What the banner asks about is the optional analytics described above. Nothing optional runs before you answer, declining is a single click and as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
6. Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking ours means you cannot stay signed in, so the dashboard and checkout will not work. Signing out clears them.
7. The Argus desktop application
This policy is about this website. Cookies inside the Argus browser belong to the profiles you create: they are stored on your device, isolated per profile, and are yours to import, export and delete. They are not covered here, and we do not read them — see the Privacy Policy.
