About Argus
Argus is an anti-detect browser: a desktop app that runs hundreds of isolated browser profiles, each with its own cookies, fingerprint and proxy.

What it is
The product is two programs with a deliberate wall between them, and most of what makes it trustworthy follows from that split. The full reference for the boundary is on the how it works page, and the local API it exposes is documented on the API reference.
Two programs, one wall
The launcher holds your account, profiles and proxy pool. The browser is a hardened Chromium that receives one profile's identity at launch — and nothing else. It cannot see your account or your other profiles.
One shared workspace
Profiles, proxies, cookie sets and extensions belong to your organization and follow you between machines. The live browsing session stays on the machine that ran it.
Local-first automation
The API is a bridge on your own machine with scoped keys you create and revoke — agents and scripts drive it over MCP or HTTP. There is no hosted runner and no hosted web API.
Who builds it
Argus is built and operated by Simnetiq Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Simnetiq. The desktop builds are signed in the company's name and notarized by Apple, so what you install is what we shipped.
